Bunbury, Western Australia

I am staying yet another transfer here in Carey Park (a suburb of Bunbury).  I will be here for 7 1/2 months, almost a third of my mission.  Also, the sisters that come in this new transfer will be the ones that go home at the same time as myself.  It's weird that I've been out for six months already.

So, this week, L* still isn't coming to church.  We went by and taught him about tithing and the keeping the Sabbath day holy, and he said that he would come to church and that we should stop by Sunday before church to make sure that he would come.  As we were headed over, he sent us a text and said that he felt sick and that he wouldn't be coming to church, but we could come by after church to meet with him.  We went around after church, and we caught him pulling into his house on his motorcycle... huh.  But he is still keen to quit smoking.  Today, we'll cut our P-day short so we can go over and start the program with him.

Also, C*, the lady we had on date, is no longer on date to be baptized.  We met with her on Thursday, and she said that she wants to be baptized, but that she wants to tell her kids when she sees them in Tasmania in April.  She doesn't want to be baptized until sometime in May.  So, we don't have anyone on date for baptism anymore, but we did get four new investigators this week, which is good.

In The Book of Mormon, I have recently read the story of Abinadi in Mosiah, and in chapter 13 verses 1 through 5, the faith and courage that he has is astounding.  As we have the courage to act on our faith in the Lord and his promises, then we will be able to see miracles in our lives.
