Cockburn, Western Australia

This week went by fast.

SO MUCH RAIN!  It has rained every day this week; we have been getting drenched every day!  It's FANTASTIC!
Bet he's glad he took the jacket he didn't want to take!
We had exchanges with the Zone Leaders this week, it was really fun, I was able to learn heaps.  Mostly just to point out when someone is doing good, it helps them to see the progression they are making and helps them to feel good and not beat themselves up.  There is this one referral we got from the sisters in our district, and the person has some serious feelings of guilt and shame. So, we were trying to meet with her, and she wasn't able to see us, so she was really beating herself up about it and saying that God couldn't love her because she has made too many mistakes.  We told her that God never gives up on any of us and that he is always there to pick us up when we fall... it's kind of sad to see how Satan and make us feel that God has limits to his love for us.... I don't know if that was well put, but I'm not sure how else to say it...
With the Zone Leaders

Anyway, this Sunday we were able to have a visitor at church.  In the middle of Sacrament Meeting, this 83-year-old guy comes to the door of the chapel and starts calling and waving for the Elders.  So, we got up and went to talk to him, and he was a real loud talker and said that he wanted us to help him sell his car.  So, we were trying to move somewhere where we wouldn't disturb the rest of the congregation, but he wouldn't budge, and the whole ward was looking to see what was going on -- even the person bearing their testimony stopped to hear what this guy was saying... It was a cringe-worthy moment.  So, we went by last night to help him set up an account for the website, and tomorrow we will go and put the ad on.

Otherwise, nothing much happened.

PS: Ha! Technology! (Note from Mom: I assume this is a positive "Ha!" because we're now receiving many pics. We LOVE that he has a smart phone now, because we get to see a lot of classic shots like these! Before, he was only allowed to take pics on P-day because they couldn't have a camera with them as they looked like tourists. A phone camera makes all the difference!)

The graphics kill me!

They cook!!
